Eric Des O'del directs the Seattle Choir of Light. The words were adapted from the paradoxical commandments written by Kent M. Keith, a Harvard student, at age 19. He challenged his fellow students, in 1968, to strive to do what is good and to really love people as a way to change the world.
• Provides oversight and direction to the choir based on member input
• Creates and approves policies and procedures
• Ensures sound fiscal management
(The Treasurer collects dues, pays bills and maintains the financial records.)
• Hires/dismisses contractors and sets salaries (Personnel Committee)
