performance guidelines

Performance Criteria
1. Criterion for performances shall support the mission and vision of the Peace Choir.
2. Some performances shall be presented to persons economically, physically or mentally less fortunate.
3. Some performances shall be for various ‘worthy causes’ that our mission statement supports, like MLK Day, Earth Day, etc. and performed without regard to profit.
4. We shall seek venues that foster audience receptivity.
5. Performances shall have at least 2/3 of our membership participating, with a good balance of vocal parts.
6. We shall seek performance opportunities that allow our musical Director to participate, and we will ask his/her participation in the final decisions of where, when and what we perform.
7. We shall seek out and/or respond to performance opportunities outside of Ashland, in both the larger community and possibly the world!
